Lyon Airport is one of the most modern and well-equipped airports in France. The Lyon Saint Exupery Airport is based approximately 15 miles east of Lyon city centre, close to Azieu, Janneyrias, La Plaine, Saint Laurent-de-Mure and Saugnieu.
Lyon Airport provides great access to the popular and beautiful Rhone Alps region of France, with over 7 million passengers passing through the Airport per annum.
The Airport consists of three terminals where Terminals 1 and 2 are joined by a central connecting hall and Terminal 3 is located adjacent to Terminal 1. The distance between the terminals can be covered on foot although a free shuttle bus service does run between the terminals and car parks at Lyon Airport.
Lyon Airport can be accessed via the Junctions on the A432 which links both the A42 to the north and the A43 to the south.
The airport is near to a number of prominent towns and villages such as Saint-Bonnet-de-Mure to the south, Pusignan to the north and Meyzieu to the north-west. To the east lie Charvieu-Chavagneux, Colombier-Sangnieu, Pont-de-Chéruy and Tignieu-Jameyzieu.
